Happy One Month Birthday, Precious Girl!

Yesterday Ariana turned one month old. I can't believe that we have missed out on a whole month already, but I am so glad she is being cared for in a loving foster home. I'm sure her foster mom made sure Ariana knew how loved she is!

1/15/08 Our attorney-Ramon Bolanos-finally bothers to inform us of Ariana's death
1/7/08 Our sweet baby dies in her sleep
12/26/07 to 1/3/08 Visit trip-a tiny taste of heaven
12/29/07 Pre Approval!
12/27/07 KO from PGN for no PA
12/13/07 Enter PGN without PA (pre-approval)
12/7ish/07 Exit Family Court
11/22/07 Social Worker interview of Ariana's birthmom (don't know the exact day)
11/13/07 Entered Family Court
11/13/07 DNA finally accepted at embassy in Guatemala and the PA wait begins! (DNA arrived too late on Friday, nobody there on Sat/Sun, closed for Veteran's Day on Monday, so we lost a few days there.)
11/7/07 DNA is a match!
11/2/07 DNA samples arrived at the lab this morning!
10/23/07 Notified that we have DNA authorization and DNA is on its way to the lab!
10/18/07 Power of Attorney and final documents on their way to Guatemala!
10/12/07 Power of Attorney arrived at the Guatemalan Consulate in Chicago
10/11/07 Signed Power of Attorney and sent it through authentication process
10/10/07 Saw our beautiful baby's pictures for the first time
10/9/07 Got the call that we had a referral
10/5/07 Officially signed with our new agency
9/26/07 Ariana born in Guatemala
9/17/07 Meet with our new agency and fell in love with them immediately! (Nothing wrong with our first agency other than a long waiting list for girls!)
9/14/07 Received I171H in the mail!!!!!
9/13/07 Chose a new agency and scheduled a meeting
9/10/07 Told by first agency that we wouldn't make it to the top of the girl referral list before the anticipated cut-off for referrals
9/10/07 Started researching agencies with shorter waiting lists
9/6/07 CIS fingerprint appointment
8/25/07 Received our fingerprint appointment notices
8/22/07 Dossier completed and sealed by the Secretary of State
8/17/07 Final Homestudy report released!
7/3/07 Mailed our I600A
6/26/07 Had our final homestudy visit
6/12/07 Had our first homestudy visit
4/23/07 Applied with our first agency
